"Through the course Audio Engineer (univ.) many background, techniques and correlations became apparent to me. This knowledge enabled me to make us of entirely new workflows. The professional know-how and all the hints and insider-tricks that the lecturers just gave away were highly interesting and served as an incentive to be creative. All the lecturers were exceptionally competent and were able to present the content in a exciting and interesting manner. A lot of focus was also placed on practical relevance. Also, by making use of the semi-virtual course I could continue my day-time job without a problem! Personally, SET was just the right choice for me. I now possess the required knowledge about audio engineering and I feel more secure in what I do. The community developing around the courses is another useful aspect for the time after graduation. Taking a SET course? -- I would certainly recommend it..."

"Ich habe die S.E.T. gewählt, da ich im Prinzip schon mein ganzes Leben Musik mache und mich seit über 10 Jahren mit Tontechnik beschäftige. Irgendwann hatte ich das Gefühl, dass ich mit Autodidaktik nicht weiter und schneller zum Ziel, besserem Workflow und Ergebnissen komme, wenn ich die Basics nochmal fundiert beigebracht bekomme. Bei der S.E.T. fand ich genau das. "Das Studienjahr zum Medienkomponisten (FH) war für mich ein voller Erfolg und genau der richtige Schritt in meiner musikalischen Entwicklung.
Positiv überrascht hat mich die Menge und Qualität der sehr gut ausgearbeiteten Lehrmaterialien.

"It was great fun, with the people working here as well as with the other students. The on-line portal worked great! You can download all the content (PDFs) and study when ever and where ever you like - even off-line. The course content is quite extensive and includes everything from acoustics to the production of advertisments, but it contains everything an audio engineer needs to know these days. Especially the pointers given and the topics on videos for recording and EQ-ing were really informative. Everything is rather practical and presented straight to the point."
